How do I book classes and do I need to book in advance? To book classes just head to our Book classes page and select the class(es) that you wish to attend. Fill in the form and click book. Are classes paid per class or by block? Classes run in blocks and are paid for in advance to secure your place. Is it possible to Pay As You Go, although you'll find it cheaper to block book. Please note that spaces are limited and priority is given to those who book the full set of sessions.

Do I need to bring a partner for Ballroom and Latin classes? No not all. Whilst you’re very welcome to team up with a friend/partner/family member and come along to lessons together, no partner is required to attend our Ballroom and Latin classes. Ballroom and Latin dances are traditionally a partnered dance, so will always endeavour to team you up with another dancer in the class- what a great way to get to know fellow members of our Momenta Dance Community! However, with that said, you will never be forced to dance with someone else if you prefer not to, we want you to feel comfortable.

What do I wear? There is no uniform requirement for Adult classes, but we advise comfortable clothing that is easy to move in. Jeans are not permitted at any level, as they restrict movement. From Improver’s level upwards (for all dance styles), appropriate dancewear is recommended and correct dance footwear is essential. •Ballet shoes for Adult Ballet •Socks/bare feet for Pilates •Latin/Ballroom shoes for Ballroom and Latin Classes. Please feel free to speak to your teacher for further advise.

Momenta Dance Academy has no liability in respect to historic or present personal injury or illness. Participants take classes at their own risk. We may require a doctor’s confirmation that your participation has been approved.

How old is everyone in the class? Our adult classes are for people aged 16+. There is no upper age limit and everyone is welcome.

How many participants are in the class? The number of participants varies depending on class level and type of class; however, class numbers are kept low for your comfort and ease of learning.

What if I’m running late? We advise all our members to arrive at least 5-10 minutes before the start of each class, to ensure they are ready to begin on time. In event that you are running late, we politely remind you that we do not admit anyone who is more than 10 minutes late for any class, due to health and safety and comfort for all.
